Squirrels...Mummified.

The most recent project has been a biggie. We've swapped around several spaces in the house. It goes something like this:

My office moved from downstairs to upstairs.
The family computer that was upstairs went to the old "tv room" on the main floor.
We removed the carpet in the TV room, and exposed hardwood flooring, and this became Erica's new office.
The basement rec room got a new ceiling, new paint, and additional lighting. It is now kid central. It includes two game tables, stereo, GameCube, TV, and some play space.

I took a pile of pictures...and placed them in a photo album on our family website.

Take a look at them here!

The project synopsis I emailed out to family puts things in a pretty good order:

1. Eric's office take apart in basement.
2. Desk on landing upstairs disassemble.
3. Relocate Eric's office on landing.
4. Gut basement ceiling and extricate mummified squirrels.
5. Paint the walls in the basement.
6. Empty old TV room...food scraps and all.
7. Rip out carpet in old TV room.
8. Use the TV shelf to fill the hole in the kitchen left by the refrigerator move.
9. Establish Erica's office with desk from landing in old TV room.
10. Relocate most every couch in the house.
11. Finish the basement room...with new baseboard heat.
12. Have a party for New Years downstairs.
13. Bring home beautiful oak table from Eden Prairie.
14. Redo Ben's room...just cause it needed it.
15. Add a bed to Zach's room...now he sleeps on top!

Insert several beers and bottles of wine here and there.

That's all for now...
